Lets all Pull together and CONQUER CANCER

Please tell at least two people to visit this site.... thanks. I would like to have 500 visitors in Oct '09 - that means I need 480 visitors as of the 3 th.

 

Okay, folks I am going to request that everyone that visits the page get serious about one thing. Cancer and putting it to death. No, you and I may not be able to do the research but we can get money to those that do.

My stats for this website if we are all serious about finding a solution to cancer should increase daily. All I am asking is for each person that visits this site to tell two more people. The decision made by each person after that is solely up to them... but please don't make the decision for them by not telling them about the site.

No, I have not had cancer. My mother did fight it and she won. But, being part of the family of someone that has gone through the battle - I know what it does to a person. Anyone reading this that is currently going through treatments - Call on all the support you can. Don't give up, scream if you have to but don't give up.

Someone, you know has cancer or knows someone that does. I can almost guarantee it. We all need to share in the dream and the challenge of fighting cancer and putting it to death.

I, have a poem below which I want everyone to read. It is something I wrote and I have placed in public domain. However, having done some limited research in the laws of the United States, it is protected by the Copyright laws as my original work.... more so it appears that it would be protected under copyright laws until I have been dead for 70 years.

I, am working on writing more poetry ... in the desire that I can generate about 100 pages of material. This will then be put together in book format and sold. I am hoping to keep the price as low as possible. However, this is how my revenues from the book will be divided. $2/book to cancer research, $1/book to the artist, $1/book to me.

Here is what I want to do. I am going to share a poem on this site. If it touches you ... I would like you to do three things.

1. Send $1.00 to either the Canadian or American Cancer Society. Please tell them why you are making the donation.

2. Email me at poetry@conqueringeagle.com and let me know that as long as I can keep the price of the book at or below $15 USD that you will purchase one from me. Your email address will be kept and when I am able to print the book I will let you know. I am not going to use your email address for any other purpose to contact you when I am finally able to print the book.

3. Finally, I want you to take a moment and email, phone, speak to someone about this website. Anyone and Everyone that can read and understand english needs to be told about this site. So, as a beginning point everyone in the United States, Canada, England, Australia..

LET ME LIVE

I can’t feel it
though they say
I am very ill

I can’t feel it
all though they say
my body is being destroyed

My appearance
is the same
I can talk, walk, eat
the same

They tell me I
need surgery
to rid me of this disease

They tell me
that the surgery may
not solve the problem

Radiation is being
mumbled
As is a word I
never wanted to hear

Chemo is there
to help me
so I am told

An IV I will need
once every six weeks
for a year

Poison to kill
what is left
purple dye to
course through my veins

I don’t want anymore
treatments
let me die

I don’t want anymore
treatments
I don’t want to be sick
anymore

Let me Die
I cry
Let me Die

One more treatment
are you sure

They told me today
that I have won
I beat it
yes I did

It had me down
and I was so close
to quitting

But I won.
I won.
Let me Live

Yes, I have a dream of business ownership. My poetry and your support of it may help me realize my dream - while helping those around the world that suffer from Cancer. If you have read this far I am going to personally challenge you to help me make this website "viral"... With your help, I would like to have a minimum of 500 people visit my website in October '09... and I would like to have 1000 in November. Finally, by December I would like 2000 people to send me an email and let me know they would like my collection of poetry. This clock is ticking.... with your help I can make it happen.

Another, issue has come to mind. That of internet businesses being less than reputable. I am currently dealing with a company that doesn't appear to be able to provide what it states its business is - that being the business of providing loans. In fact, my dealings with them thus far lead me to no other conclusion than they are a scam, committing fraud and should be put out of business.

I personally believe that its time for what I will call consumerism. Instead of Commercialism and Capitalism, its time for Consumerism. Want to know more click on this word ( consumerism ).
